Upgrading to 1.7.1 wiped out all data, words, and spelling quizzes

I could not be more unhappy about the Spellboard upgrade having wiped out all data related to Spellboard. I had invested many, many hours in building quizzes, etc. Apparently, the iTunes backup does not include the Spellboard data, nor does Palasoftware advise you of this. This is a major problem, for which Palasoftware is responsible. Please, Palasoftware, if you read these comments, provide a means of restoring the lost data, or never again publish an upgrade that destroys your customers work product.
