Underwhelmed at $4.99

1) the whiteboard is just for scribbling. At this price ($4.99) I would expect character recognition, or at least a way to store my kids entries so I can score them manually. Its just a scribble pad, and confusingly, it also comes up in test mode, where it has no function. This is not clearly indicated in the App store.

2) The App should be able to pronounce basic English words without the need for me to record them. Speak & Spell did that more than 25 years ago!

3)The Entry button is greyed out and you have to use the keyboard entry

4) word search put in multiple instances of the same word that would not validate unless I chose the correct iteration.

5) need to separate the scoring tools from test creation so the child user doesnt wind up in a confusing menu

This is a Beta product at a premium price!
